Brighton is where it all began
We've been running Sip and Paint classes in Brighton for 7 years now and love it. Alice grew up in Brighton and it's John's new adopted home! With our team of amazing artists we've run hundreds of Paint Clubs across Brighton.
As well as regular paint nights in Brighton, we've also run hen parties in and around the city.

The Railway Inn, Portslade
This was the first venue in Brighton we started running painting classes at!
5 years later we are still at The Railway Inn on Boundary road every 4th Tuesday of the month.
The Victory Inn, Brighton
We've been running paint nights at The Victory Inn on Duke Street since the start of 2022.
Painting classes take part upstairs every 1st Tuesday of the month.
The Seahorse, Hove
The Seahorse in Hove on the seafront is a firm favourite with a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and amazing sea views.
We run the classes downstairs every month.

Fancy getting creative in a fun, social setting? Our sip and paint events in Sussex are the perfect way to unwind and try something new. We host regular workshops across the county every month, and every session includes all the materials you need—plus a canvas to take home and proudly display. We run regular paint and sip nights in: Arundel, Brighton, Burgess Hill, Bognor Regis, Cuckfield, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Heathfield, Horsham, Pevensey, Portslade, Rye and Uckfield.
What’s it like to join a session by The Paint Club?
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope—just bring yourself! Your space will be set up with a canvas, tabletop easel, brushes, a paint palette, and water for rinsing. Everything’s ready so you can dive straight into the fun.
How long is each session?
Our Sussex paint and sip workshops run for around two hours. You’ll be guided by one of our brilliant artists who’ll walk you through the painting step-by-step—offering tips, encouragement, and space to add your own creative flair. And yes, your finished artwork goes home with you!
Want to finish it later? No problem—we offer beginner paint kits so you can continue at home.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you're already creatively inclined, our events are designed for everyone. Our artists break things down into simple steps, and the atmosphere is all about having fun, not getting it perfect.
Can I come alone, or should I bring a group?
You’re welcome either way! Our events are naturally sociable—great for a night out with friends or a relaxed evening meeting new people. Just check the ticket availability for your chosen event.
Are drinks included?
Our events in Sussex don't include a drink in the ticket price but most venues have a bar with drinks available to purchase. Some even serve food and nibbles. Just check the event listing for full details.
Who’s behind The Paint Club?
The Paint Club was founded by John and Alice back in 2016, starting with a single workshop at a local pub. What began as a simple way to get people socialising creatively has now grown into a team of over 40 artists delivering fun, friendly paint nights all over the UK. Whether you’re looking for a unique night out, a team-building activity, or just a fresh way to relax—we’ve got you covered.
