Paint and Sip in Brighton

Brighton is where it all began
We've been running Sip and Paint classes in Brighton since 2017 and we love it here. Alice grew up in Brighton and it's John's new adopted home! With our team of amazing artists we've run hundreds of Paint Clubs across Brighton.
As well as regular paint nights in Brighton, we've also run hen parties in and around the city.

The Railway Inn, Portslade
This was the first venue in Brighton we started running paint and sip classes at!
We paint at The Railway Inn on Boundary road every 4th Tuesday of the month.
The Victory Inn, Brighton
We've been running paint nights at The Victory Inn on Duke Street since the start of 2022.
Painting classes take part upstairs every 1st Tuesday of the month.
What can I expect from a paint and sip party in Brighton with The Paint Club?
Do I need to take anything?
No, everything you need will be provided. Your Brighton venue will be ready with a tabletop easel, canvas, paintbrushes, a small paint palette, and a cup of water for brush cleaning.
How long does a paint and sip session last?
Each paint and sip workshop in Brighton runs for two hours and is led by a friendly, experienced artist. You'll be guided step-by-step through the painting, with plenty of encouragement to explore your creativity. You’ll take your canvas home afterwards – and if you need more time, you can buy a beginner’s paint kit to complete it later.
How to sign up for a paint class in Brighton?
Tickets for all of our paint and sip events in Brighton and the surrounding areas can be found at the top of this page. Each event is different, so check out what we are going to paint at your chosen event and the venue location and date. Tickets are usually £33 per person.
Do I need previous experience with painting?
No experience is required! Our Brighton paint and sip nights are open to all skill levels, with straightforward guidance from our artists to help you feel genuinely at ease. These events are here to help you relax, be creative and have fun!
Can I go on my own, or is it for groups only?
Yes, you can come solo or with others, depending on ticket availability for your chosen session in Brighton. All the events we host are sociable and welcoming, whether you're joining on your own or as part of a group.
Is a drink included with the ticket for the paint and sip?
Drinks aren’t included in the ticket price. Drinks can be bought at the bar, and some venues also offer food and snacks. Check the event details before booking for the full information.

The Paint Club began in 2016 by husband and wife team, John and Alice, as a fun idea to bring people together through creativity and socialising. We've grown from John running events at our local to a team of 42 artists, running paint and sip workshops across the UK. Our sessions are relaxed, fun, and ideal for meeting friends, team building, or learning to paint.
