Brighton is where it all began
We've been running Sip and Paint classes in Brighton since 2017 and we love it here. Alice grew up in Brighton and it's John's new adopted home! With our team of amazing artists we've run hundreds of Paint Clubs across Brighton.
As well as regular paint nights in Brighton, we've also run hen parties in and around the city.
If you have somewhere in mind you'd like to run a paint and sip event, please get in touch.

The Railway Inn, Portslade
This was the first venue in Brighton we started running paint and sip classes at!
We paint at The Railway Inn on Boundary road every 4th Tuesday of the month.
The Victory Inn, Brighton
We've been running paint nights at The Victory Inn on Duke Street since the start of 2022.
Painting classes take part upstairs every 1st Tuesday of the month.

Turtle Bay, Preston 🍹
Our Preston events take place at Turtle Bay, right in the heart of the city centre on Church Street.
It’s a fun, vibrant venue that gives the evening a lively social feel — perfect if you fancy combining painting with cocktails, good food and a proper night out atmosphere. You can settle in at your easel, order something from the bar and spend a couple of relaxed hours painting, chatting and unwinding.

The Stags Head, Goosnargh 🍷
We also run events at The Stags Head in Goosnargh, just outside Preston.

What happens at a Preston or Goosnargh paint and sip event? 🖌️
When you arrive, your painting station will be set up ready for you. You’ll have your own canvas, easel, brushes, paints and water pot.
One of our friendly artists will guide the group through the painting step by step, so you can follow along at your own pace. Some people stick closely to the example painting, while others add their own colours, details or little twists — both are very welcome.
The aim is simple: relax, enjoy the atmosphere and leave with a finished painting you created yourself.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope — everything is included in your ticket. 🙌
We bring:
canvas
easel
brushes
paints
water pots
aprons where needed
step-by-step guidance from your artist
You just need to turn up, get comfortable and enjoy the evening.
How long does a sip and paint session last? ⏰
Our Preston and Goosnargh paint and sip sessions usually last around two hours.
That gives you plenty of time to paint, chat, sip, snack and enjoy the process without feeling rushed.
Do I need to be good at painting?
Not at all. Our events are designed for complete beginners as well as people who already enjoy being creative. 🎨
You don’t need to have painted before, and you definitely don’t need to think of yourself as “arty”. Your artist will break the painting down into simple steps, and the atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging.
You might surprise yourself.
Is a drink included? 🍷
Drinks aren’t usually included in the ticket price. The “sip” in sip and paint simply means you’ll be painting in a relaxed pub, bar or restaurant setting, where you can order whatever you fancy on the night.
That might be a cocktail at Turtle Bay, a glass of wine at The Stags Head, a soft drink, coffee or something to eat while you paint. Some people come for the painting, some come for the social side, and some come for a relaxed night out — all are welcome.
Who are Preston and Goosnargh sip and paint nights good for?
Our events are great for relaxed nights out with friends, birthdays, date nights, hen parties, team socials, creative “me time”, or anyone looking for something different to do locally in Lancashire.
You can come as a group or on your own. The sessions are friendly and informal, and painting gives everyone something easy to chat about. 🫶
Can I book a private paint and sip party near Preston?
Yes — if you’re planning a birthday, hen party, work social or team-building event, we can also help with private painting parties in Preston, Goosnargh and the surrounding Lancashire area.
Private events are a great option if you’d like the painting session to come to your own venue, workplace, village hall, holiday cottage or chosen pub. We bring the painting kit and artist; you bring the people.
